Christmas traditions in Britain. Christmas Cake.

Christmas cakes are also very rich and dark and contain just about every dried fruit you can think of, nuts (usually blanched almonds) glace cherries, candied peel and once again, sweetened with black treacle. They are covered with a layer of marzipan or almond paste and then thick white "Royal" icing made with icing sugar and egg whites.
It was introduced as a custom by the Victorians. Prior to that period, cake was eaten during Christmas, but without the toppings. The idea of using marzipan is thought to be linked to the Tudor Marchpane an iced and decorated cake of marzipan that acted as the table centrepiece during banquets and festive occasions. They should be made about six weeks before Christmas and are usually decorated with ribbons and images of Santa Claus or robins with holly.

I can say that he is clever and cute guy.I know this guy since i was 13. He has a sence of humor. In real life he is like in this picture, very positive. I think in this picture he is very happy. He does boxing. I think many years already. Also he likes walking with friends. He likes to go to the parties. I chose this photo, `cause it`s very positive. When i see this photo i want to smile immediately. From photo comes very much positive energy. `cause i like it.

My hobby.

My most basic hobby is dance.I think i will never leave dancing,until the time will come and I'll have to do so.There is my second home,all other dancers are like brothers and sisters to me.I'm with them for eight years now and I never regreted that I am in such a wonderful collective "Radost".We dance different styles, from classic dances to modern hip-hop. I go there three timesa week but it would be nice to be there for often.We travel to many different countries like Poland,Russia,Finlad,Bulgaria,Latvia,Lithuania.I think that dance is movement,and movement is life.For this reason we should encourage ourselves to dance.

Westminster Abbey
